  1. Escalation Level 1

If CIBIL’s initial response to your complaint justify you feeling unheard, you can take the matter further.  CIBIL offers an online “Escalate to Level 1” form, but to use it, you’ll need a valid service request number (SR number) obtained when you first contacted them.  If you don’t have an SR number, or your concern doesn’t directly relate to a previous complaint, CIBIL also provides a separate query form.  In either case, CIBIL aims to respond within 15 business days.

  1. Escalation Level 2

Do you feel like your CIBIL complaint hasn’t been fully addressed at Level 1? Don’t give up! You can take the issue further through their online escalation process. You can visit their website and look for the “Escalate to Level 2” form. To complete this form, you’ll need to have two important pieces of information on hand: your initial Service Request (SR) number and the Online Grievance ID assigned at Level 1. Once you submit the Level 2 escalation, CIBIL will take a closer look at your case and aim to respond within 10 business days.

  1. Escalation Level 3

If your CIBIL complaint remains unresolved, there’s one final step. Visit the CIBIL’s website and look for the “Escalate to Level 3” form. This form requires both your initial Service Request (SR) number and the Online Grievance ID assigned at Level 2. Once submitted, CIBIL will give your case the highest level of attention and aim to provide a definitive response within 8 business days.
